Do you ever go through the week thinking you’re further ahead than you really are? I don’t know why I’m so messed up this week! I keep thinking it’s a day later than it really is. Oh, I’ll just blame that on the pregnancy, haha! Now that it’s getting chilly out here in Texas, I thought I’d show you a few cute warmer sweater options for those of you with (or without) baby bumps! We gave you a little taste these outfits in our De-frump the Bump Part 1 and Part 2 posts, but I wanted to spotlight them now! The outfits are essentially the same with the exception of a flowy & fringe white sweater. Both are darling and work pregnant or not! Neither are actual “maternity” tops anyway!
This flowy top is extra comfy and I love the thermal-waffle texture it has. The high-low cut is always nice too! You can wear this so many different ways. I am usually an advocate of more form fitting pieces while pregnant, but this one is an exception to the rule. At least while my belly is still relatively small…
This fringe sweater is really darling and cozy, too! The fringe detail add just enough flair to make it a little more than “just a sweater.” I love that it’s white – it leaves you so many options to throw in pops of color with other accessories, like these cute booties.
I think I am all done with my Christmas shopping! Amazing! We did keep things a little more simple this year, but it’s actually really nice. We’ve done more elaborate gifting for our kids in years past, and honestly I feel like it’s really overwhelming for them. It ends up being a contest in how many gifts they got and they really seem to almost be irritable and in a funky mood during and after gifting. Once everything is unwrapped, they don’t notice half the things they got because they are drawn to a particular toy. I’m always left thinking, “Why did we get them so many things?” I don’t really know how else to explain it, but does anyone else know what I mean? Christmas isn’t about the presents anyway!!! It’s about peace, love, joy, service, and of course, Christ!
