Here’s a recipe I posted on my old blog that I still get a lot of requests for! This Chocolate Slim Down Shake is so delicious! Your taste buds will not believe this is a healthy shake and will actually help you lose belly fat!
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- Stevia to taste (if you’re using the Trader Joe’s Stevia that I highly recommend, I used 6 scoops of the tiny spoon that comes inside the bottle, but you may have to adjust to taste so try 4 first)
- 2 Tbsp Non-Fat Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp cocoa powder (unsweetened or raw cacao)
- 1/4 – 1/2 avocado
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
Blend all ingredients together EXCEPT the coconut milk.
Add the coconut milk at the end to get it to your desired consistency (I like mine when it’s similar to a Wendy’s frosty).
This will yield 16 oz. with only 250 calories and 8 carbs (with 1/2 avocado).
If you use 1/4 of the avocado it brings it to 170 calories!!! Carbs in this are almost non-existent because they are so low.
Lets compare this to a 16 oz. Wendy’s frosty: Wendy’s has 430 calories and 84 grams of carbs!
